NID was established in 1994 primarily as a residential decorative painting business. After training at the world renowned Day Studio in San Francisco, Nancy specialized in wall glazing, gliding, trompe l'oeil, murals, painted furniture, stenciling, and other finishes. Our painted surfaces have been used in all areas of the home and businesses in a wide variety of styles and budgets. However, we soon found ourselves responding to many client requests for entire room decorating schemes. Consequently, we have expanded our list of services to include all aspects of interior decorating. Over the years we have provided our clients with fabric selection and upholstery, color consultation, custom lighting & furniture design, and project management. One area we champion is "reclaiming" existing furniture and structures, either by finding new uses for them or by giving them facelifts. We always try to re-use and recycle materials as much as possible on our projects.
